Cleaning your home on the physical level is as important as cleaning it on the spiritual level. Like the physical dust, filth, and dirt that may quickly accumulate if not removed, the spiritual debris, dust, and dirt that has been allowed to build up for too long can lead to feelings of spiritual, emotional, and mental exhaustion, restlessness, and even stagnation if not dealt with.

Thankfully, achieving a state of spiritual purity isn’t hard. You won’t need much beyond the required materials and instructions to finish the job.

It is customary to clean one’s home on the first day of the new year, on both a physical and a spiritual level. One of the most efficient ways to clear away negative and unhealthy energy is by using the proper floor wash. It is also beneficial to perform a spiritual cleansing of your home once a month, preferably on the night of the New Moon or the night of the Full Moon.

Follow the oldest method

Using a spiritual bath floor wash is one of the oldest and most discreet methods of casting charms. This is also a highly efficient approach. The primary components of the floor wash are water and carefully chosen botanicals. Apply the solution after thoroughly cleaning the floors, surfaces, and baths. Whether a spiritual floor wash repels, attracts, or does both depends on the specific botanicals used in its creation.

Making a spiritual floor wash can be done in a number of ways, but the vast majority involve infusing water with three or more ingredients. Water from a rain barrel or a spring will work just as well as the “Holy Water,” “Spiritual Water,” or “Florida Water” called for in certain recipes. Perhaps even more conveniently located. Most recipes call for filtered or bottled water, not tap water.

Use non-metal container

Add the botanicals to a non-metal container once you’ve poured the water into it. This is the first step towards cleaning the spiritual floor. About 10 minutes of simmering time is recommended for the combination. Don’t bother storing the mixture in containers until it’s totally cooled. The water should already be boiling before you add any essential oils, so do that before you put them in the container. The combination needs to hang out for a full week before it can be used.

Before using a spiritual floor wash, you should sweep the floors. After mopping and drying the floors, start applying the solution at one end of the room and work your way to the exit. Put some salt on the threshold after you’ve washed it down with soap and water to keep any bad vibes on the other side. These floor washes shouldn’t be viewed as their own category of cleaning, but rather as an additional step before the final rinse. If you want the floor wash’s fragrance magic to really come out, you need wait until it’s completely dry to use it.

Do it for your own sanity

Now you may use your regular cleaning detergents by simply adding a small amount of this floor wash. Performing a spiritual cleaning for yourself while you clean your home is a win-win. You can still use the mixture by putting it in a spray bottle and spraying a fine mist over the carpets, even if some of the rooms in your house are completely carpeted from floor to ceiling. If you have carpeting from floor to ceiling, this will still work. You can add your floor wash mixture to the rest of your cleaning solution and use it to steam clean your carpets or floors.
